Project Overview

Payload needed to solve two core problems: providing reliable utility payments and creating a safe marketplace for vendor transactions. The platform required complex escrow functionality and real-time updates.

The Challenge

Existing solutions either lacked escrow protection or had poor vendor management tools. Users needed confidence that payments would only release when goods were delivered, while vendors required easy storefront management.

My Role & Contributions

• Designed the vendor storefront system with unique URLs
• Implemented the escrow logic with countdown timers
• Integrated multiple VTU providers with failover mechanisms
• Built the real-time transaction dashboard with WebSockets
• Created the fraud detection interface for admin monitoring

The Solution
